On January 17, 2025, the launch ceremony of Advanced Motor Manufacturing Technology Joint Laboratory, established by Tongji University and NEVEM, was successfully held.
At the meeting, Yuyan Fan , Deputy Director of the Jiading District Science and Technology Commission and member of the Party Leadership Group of the District Science and Technology Association, extended her warm congratulations on the establishment of the joint laboratory and introduced the achievements of the Jiading District's "Unveiling and Commanding" project. She pointed out that the laboratory was established based on the strengths of both parties, aiming to further promote university-enterprise cooperation and the integration of industry and education. The District Science and Technology Commission expressed its commitment to continue advancing the integration of innovative resources and providing high-quality services and support for enterprises and universities.
Licca Chen, CEO of NEVEM, delivered a speech at the meeting. She stated: "In 2024, our market share in the field of flat-wire motor stator equipment manufacturing has steadily increased. We are the first domestic company to successfully export core flat-wire motor stator equipment to Germany, reflecting new progress in our core technology areas."

NEVEM, as a leading expert in the industrialization process development of core components for new energy vehicle flat-wire motors, has strong technical R&D capabilities. It has achieved numerous breakthroughs in the design of automated production lines and the development of testing equipment for motor core components, providing solid support for the development of the new energy vehicle sector. Today, the joint launch of this cooperation platform will further promote the innovation and development of advanced motor manufacturing technologies.
Xianfeng Wang, CTO of NEVEM, elaborated on the goals and development direction of the joint laboratory. He mentioned: "The joint laboratory is primarily dedicated to the construction of research platforms for advanced manufacturing processes of various high-efficiency motors, motor manufacturing materials, and intelligent manufacturing. The goal is to continuously lead the industrialization of intelligent motor manufacturing technology and make positive contributions to the national strategy of 'Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality' and the high-quality economic development of Shanghai's high-end intelligent manufacturing equipment industry."
NEVEM and Tongji University will conduct in-depth research on cutting-edge motor manufacturing technologies, covering the development of humanoid robot joint modules, 3D printing application technologies, full-process visual inspection technology for wiring processes, and rapid process data generation, among other areas.
